Being a poor uni student means that shopping is a very, very rare occasion. So when that moment does come along that I decide to treat myself I usually have to restrain myself in order to avoid a huge splurge & an even bigger credit card bill. After a few months of absolutely no shopping I decided to allow myself one tiny item in order to give my wardrobe a little breath of fresh air. I was thinking something colourful, structured & overall a bit different than my usual choices. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case as I fell in love with this bohemian Zara dress. I laid eyes on this dress from across the store as if it was screaming "PICK ME" because it seriously has me written all over. This dress has all three aspects of a "Kristen" dress,
- black
- lace detailing
- flowy, bohemian fit
& unfortunately my summery frock that I had in mind slowly wandered out of sight. That being said this dress fits like a dream & paired with my always ready Chelsea boots & fringe Garage bag I couldn't help but feel like it was the perfect refresh I was looking for.
PS: Yes, sadly I am guilty of forcing my amazing boyfriend into being my photographer but I am so thankful for this one putting up with my posing little self.
