The Red Couch

Last week I was lucky enough to be photographed by the amazingly talented Suke Visuals (check her out!!!) & the result was some seriously sassy photos. Usually the majority of my pictures are the result of my boyfriend making me laugh & I always just look like Bridesmaids or Step Brothers is playing behind the camera. That's why I'm obsessed with these photos, they're so different for me!!! *Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes* These pictures in particular were inspired by one of Aritzia's recent campaigns that featured old furniture and minimalistic lines. The Urban Outfitters turtleneck not only fits into the current season's trends, but also has a sexier feel with it's slightly sheer material. This suede skirt is EVERYTHING. It's basically taken this fall's 70's trend & given it to your friend's older sister to reinvent it. All in all, from the skirt to that terrible old couch, this shoot is basically a confirmation that girls don't run the world, suede does.

Krissy's Camera Roll

This post takes another sneak peak into my iPhone camera roll over the past month or so! Not that much excitement has been happening in the picture department as I'm sure none of you want to see the library walls I've been surround by for hours at the time...but these photos consist of the few times I've escaped the overwhelming work that is university. That being said the camera on my phone is getting terrible & an iPhone upgrade is number one on my list after Christmas, so stayed tuned hopefully the quality will be improving soon!

It Takes Two....Or 3

This is the final look of my little 3 part series & is basically all about the layers. The good ol' Zara Waistcoat is again styled as a dress so now that we're in November you might want to throw on a pair of trusty old tights. I've also thrown on my black leather jacket & the newest addition to my extensive winter accessories collection, this Urban Outfitters oversized blanket scarf. Sadly my little loves, aka these black Chelsea boots, are soon going to have to be retired as they are falling apart at the seams. Have a good weekend little ones!

It Takes Two....Or 3

This post is all about look 2 out of 3 & I switch up this beautiful Zara Waistcoat! This look probably isn't for everyone but as a dress enthusiast this is perfect for me. The tie of the waistcoat works perfectly in creating a wrap style dress which is literally flattering on every body type. The boots are lovely & comfy & as much I wish they were Stuart Weitzman thigh highs, these are just another example of how fashion on a budget is not always livin' the dream *cue the sad trombone*  Happy Wednesday kiddos!!
